The Eclipse Spyder will probably be offered in two trim levels: the GS model is powered by a 162-hp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed handbook transmission or non-obligatory 4-velocity automatic. The Spyder GT's 3.eight-liter V-6 produces 260 hp and 258 lb.-ft. peak torque and is teamed with a standard six-pace manual transmission or an optionally available 5-speed automatic.
